POP ART FROM ROY LICHTENSTEIN

ROY LICHTENSTEIN IS A POP ART ARTIST Roy was born in the USA in 1923. He created the imagery that has the widest appeal of the work produced by the American Pop artists during the 1960's. He studied at the Art Students League and the Ohio State University. THE REASON I LIKE HIS WORK IS BECAUSE OF THE COMIC BOOK STYLE HE BRINGS WHEN PAINTING HIS WORK HAS BRIGHT STRONG COLOURS MOST OF THE TIME AND WILL ALWAYS BE CLASSIC.
